Game Night BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients:

Louie the Lobster making sure I get it right in the kitchen.

4 lb. pork shoulder roast

2 cans root beer

2 bottles of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce

Salt and Pepper

Directions:

Stab your roast deeply with a fork, on every side.   Rub in some salt and pepper to taste.  See video link:  Piercing the Roast.  Place in a crock pot and pour in the root beer.  Cook on low for 6 hours.  Do not lift the lid.  Hint:  use those Reynolds Slow Cooker bags–trust me.

Drain all liquids, pull the pork apart with forks (it literally just falls apart).  Return to crock pot and add 2 bottles of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce.  Cook on low 1 hr.  Serve hot with quality hamburger or hot dog buns.  Great crowd pleaser and perfect for big game nights.
